Trees of Mystery

We did the early morning beach combing and ended up with a bag full of shells, very spiffy gemstones and some very foggy pictures. There is no sun here.

Then we hit Coquille River Lighthouse for an early morning tour. It is very cool when it is just you and the volunteer. It was like our own private tour.

And again, we are off-possibly as far as Klamath...yup we will probably spend tonite in California. *sniff* Missing Oregon already.

LIghthouse tour- very awesome.

Seal Cave thingy....had to go, very touristy but fun.

Beach action-no tidepools but found the beach with the sand dollars- got 3

Staying in Bandon tonight. VERY nice.

And for those wondering, staying and traveling with with Marcin (and his lovely wife) was wonderful.

Gotta go- I am hoping they have razor clams on the menu like they did in Yachats. MMMM, good eats, good drinks...good stuff all around.

Last nite in Sacramento- hit Sutter's Fort this morning. Educational and besides, the moppet studied about it last year so we had to do.

Tonite, Mt, Shasta. KOA kampin' time baby.

Tomorrow, it's pizza and beer time in Eugene with friends from the north. I'm gonna introduce them to NASCAR.

Well, that was spectacular. I saved the universe, took care of the big evil dude and got the girl.

Yup, it's over. Gah that was fun. I definitely missed some bits....but mostly some random side missions that didn't have the same pull as the main story line mission, so no regrets. Just pretty darn amazing. And the look of the game with added HD in 42 inch plasma splendor added so much.

I did have a few issues- I don't think the inventory/store system was very useful. I ended up finding most of the good loot, selling the rest and frankly just buying items very rarely. Other than that, WOW. I cannot wait for the next chapter in the story.

I guess I just have to wait for Bioware now. Oh yeah, and fire up GTA IV now too. (and the other 20 games sitting on my floor just begging to be played.

That said, the end is near. I have come full circle, the future is grim, all hell is breaking loose, and the future of the entire universe rests in the hands myself and a small band of hot women soldiers with guns...sorry, I can't help myself.

Anyway, I believe tonite or tomorrow nite will give me the end...I can't wait to see it.

Hitman was definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. Made little sense and pretty silly but I never hit the fast forward button. The Mist on the other hand had me pushing it numerous time just to get thru what seemed like hours of lamo dialogue...and then the stupid ending. The best part about The Mist? I get to send it back to Netflix and they will send me a new movie.

I think I am getting close to end of the main story in Mass Effect. I still have a handful of side missions (and several exploration find the thingy ones) but I am now primed to head to the last main area. While I know it will take some doing, I kinda thought the game was longer- it seems like the estimates of 30+ are about right-and I play slowly.

Still, I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time. It has all the elements that I love in a game and I will be a bit sad to see it end. I hope that talk of a trilogy is indeed true.

playing games on the sofa with your feet up and a beer on the end-table is so so soooo the only way to game.
