Caught up on Lost...did some ME2 and started busting my way through Love is in the Air on WoW...I was 1/2 finished from last year...then the Elder achievement -again mostly done with that- and then I get this.
And THEN, once I finish ME2...I predict by the end of February, I will take my free money and grab STO for some Trekkie fun. AND, I need to squeeze in some Crimson Skies since MS has decided to get rid of the online support for Xbox 1 games---bleh.
Oh and District 9 is pretty dang fun.

When you make decisions in this game, they certainly don't let you off the hook... I speak of the Zaaed loyalty mission. Good stuff.

Oh, also, I tried to get AvP to download...nope. Got stuck on the setting up screen- came back from soccer practice 2 hours later, and it was still there. Not good.

Started at 8:45...looked up again and it was 11:15. I guess Ashley will have to wait. I have fish in my cabin...now I just need the space hamster and it will be home. Then I need to cozy up to my cute yeomen...a little flirting and I think I can get her to feed my pets while I am out saving the universe.
AND...hmm I have the Lost recap AND the new season premier...but I might just wait until Friday to watch...after all, I need to rescue Ashley

Nutshell ME2 - February 1, 2010, 8:27 am
Stripped down inventory and gear. I like it. Much less confusing and it allows you to work your armor upgrades in a very clear manner. There is no *junk* loot to sell. You pick up credits and ores that are used to fund purchases. Combat system is good. Finally a cover system that I can figure out and actually use. Same with the team system...I finally got the hang of having one member lift an enemy into the air while I rip him apart with my machine gun...good stuff.
Travel-there was some nay sayers about the map and ship you pilot from star to star...I like it-you have fuel usage and in ME1 you just moved your cursor around. Scanning...eh, no less annoying than driving the Mako plus with the probes you can score ore pretty easily.
Characters, npcs and the like. Good fun. And there is so much going on around you with advertisements, conversations and things to discover...well I am 10 hours in and I have barely scratched the surface-heh I still need to track down 3 more teammates.
